This Barbados National Trust site includes The Chattel House Village which is a faithful replica of how a 1920s Barbadian village would have looked, complete with a chattel house museum, blacksmith's forge, rum shop and artisan's craft shops. The village also houses a model slave hut and the Stables Restaurant, which serves Bajan delights every weekday lunch time.

Gun Hill Signal Station was built in 1818 and is perched on a rural St George hilltop. The station offers the stunning views of the island. The Barbados Museum & Historical Society, Garrison, St. Michael, 427-0201 Or 436-1956. It's a beautiful and historic venue for weddings and receptions and other special occasions. The Museum grounds can be rented, starting at US$900. For that price you get a tent, chairs and tables for 100 people, the use of the kitchen for already cooked food, use of the dressing rooms, door security, cleanup before and after and set-up and break-down of any equipment. They will require a caution fee of US$100, 15% non-refundable deposit to book the grounds and the balance paid two weeks before the event.
