Take A Cruise To Barbados!You can plan and book your cruise online at travel websites. You will arrive in Barbados, at the Cruise Terminals located approximately a mile from Bridgetown. Pre-booked rental cars are available outside the Terminals. If you did not pre-book, take a short walk into Bridgetown to arrange transportation. You can also use the bus. At the air-conditioned Cruise Terminals, you have access to duty free shops, a post office, a telecommunications centre, and an information booth. It may be possible to rent a mobile telephone! There are about two dozen shops offering a wide variety of duty free goods. The partial list includes linen, designer name clothing and accessories for the whole family, jewellery, crafts, original art, electronics as well as refreshments. To enter Barbados, you must have with you, the customs declaration form, valid passport and return ticket. As well, visitors must possess a visa, except citizens of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and the Caribbean Community. Departing visitors pay a departure tax, unless they have been in Barbados less than 24. Children under 12 years of age do not pay this tax. There's a limited duty free allowance. You cannot import, or possess illegal drugs and pornography. They will be seized and you could face prosecution. As well, fruits, vegetables, plants, seeds and plant products must be declared to customs. Should you wish to extend your stay, you must produce a passport sized photograph, valid passport or travel document, valid airline ticket, evidence that you can support yourself during your extended stay and payment of an application fee.
