Open House. St. Nicholas Abbey, St. Peter. Tour this 17th century abbey which is a Jacobean style home.
Drive way up North on Highway 2A, veering to the right at Mile and a Quarter and up past All Saints Church. At the "T" junction with the Charles Duncan O'Neal Highway, turn right and continue following Open House Signs.

A Sail From The Heart. One-arm sailor, Andrew Burke, will sail around Barbados from the Careenage and back. Andrew lost his arm to cancer, but did not discontinue sailing. The event is in aid of the Barbados Cancer Society.

The Banks Waterman Festival - Silver Rock, Christ Church. This year's festival
will feature surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, beach cricket, long and short distance swimming, paddling and conch shell blowing. There will alsobe the CaribbeanPaddle Boarding Championships. Paddle surfing entails standingon a board and using a paddle in the water.
